If you have a kid, or just really enjoy superhero stuff, it can’t have escaped your attention that Marvel Studios (recently purchased by Disney) is hot, hot, hot right now. With the Avengers movies, Iron Man, Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor and a slew of others all hitting theatres around the world on what feels like a monthly basis these days, it feels like Marvel is everywhere. They’re even on the small screen, with the “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” live action show as well as the “Ultimate Spiderman” and “Avengers Assemble” cartoons. One of the newest in the Marvel TV universe is “Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.”
The show follows our titular hero, the Incredible Hulk, in a reality tv-style comedic style where he, as well as She-Hulk, Red Hulk, and A-Bomb, all seek to show the world that they are heroes and not simply giant monsters who destroy things. Throughout the series thus far we see that each of these gamma-irradiated beings has their own specific weaknesses and strengths, but one thing is clear: None of them are anywhere near as powerful as the original gamma beast, the Hulk himself. His size, strength and ability to take damage and keep on going is unparalleled by anyone in the world.
Which brings me to the Mobile Demand xTablet T1200. There are lots of rugged laptops, handheld PCs and tablets on the market, but none are quite the same as the T1200. This thing is a beast, much like the Incredible Hulk.
A powerful i5 processor, options for up to 64GB in DDR3 memory, up to a 256GB solid state internal drive with the ability to add as much as 750GB more in a second hard drive, a beautiful 10.4” screen all wrapped up in a military-grade alloy frame designed to withstand spills, liquids and drops to the floor without batting an eye? It feels I’m describing some sort of S.H.I.E.L.D. robot or something, doesn’t it?
The Hulk and the T1200 are both one of a kind creatures who excel at being the strongest of the strong, ruggedest of the rugged. There is one major way that the two differ, though. While the Hulk loves to smash, the xTablet T1200 won’t.
