The new Thor CV31 is Honeywell’s most compact vehicle-mount computer in its lineup, offering the latest high performance technology. Compared to other devices on the market, the CV31 has a sleek, compact design that improves driver visibility by more than 20%. Designed for vehicle installations, the cost-effective CV31 comes equipped with a 30-minute, UPS backup battery and optional integrated DC power converter to save on the expense of installing additional external converters or devices.
The CV31 is a multi-modal device that can handle complex voice-screen and scan-intensive applications. This model supports “hands-free, eyes up” driving and the embedded TouchConnect technology allows for pairing a Vocollect wireless headset to the terminal in a few easy steps.
The CV31 is the replacement for the Intermec CV30 and shares the same dimensions, mounting locations and I/O connector placement. With the addition of a DC power cable, you can place this device right into existing CV30 installations. The CV31 is a great upgrade from previous models and it is compatible with the mounts, scanners, keyboards and accessories.
The new model is designed with powerful components, such as the Microsoft Windows Embedded 7 operating system, OMAP4 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU and 1GB RAM. It also has the optional integrated 9-36 VDC power converter and ignition control to eliminate additional maintenance expenses and lost productivity in the field.
